During my first two years in the group, I itched to get my hands on the website, social media accounts, and printed promotional materials. I knew we could project a more cohesive, accurate, fun image of our group to the public. I had a vision for re-branding and just needed the power to turn my ideas into actions. Since being voted into the position in May 2014, I completely transformed and re-positioned our public persona. I created a new logo, re-designed our website, and fostered consistency across the website, social media, and promotional materials through the creation of branded written and visual content.
As a result of my work, we gained over 400 likes on our Facebook page and engagement increased by 60%. An event I created (PitchSlapped: An A Cappella Invitational) reached over 18,000 Facebook users and was a sold out event. We were also finalists in the Excellence in the Student Life Awards for the first time since 1996.
