May 2014-August 2014
At Celerity, a digital consulting firm in McLean, Virginia, I worked with a small, tight-knit marketing department to manage the company’s public presence.
I created a comprehensive social media competitive analysis, managed all social media accounts, drafted press releases, created graphics for the website and email blasts using Adobe Creative Suite, emailed story pitches to local and national news outlets, and wrote a blog post titled Exposure, Engagement, and Lovable Imperfection: Why Your B2B Company Should Join Instagram.
Thanks to my social media competitive analysis research and recommendations, Celerity made many improvements to their social media strategy, including the addition of a new hashtag campaign: #CelerityCeleb. The campaign exceeded expectations in terms of engagement and exposure across all of Celerity’s social channels.
My social media management throughout the summer also yielded a 50% increase in engagement across all active networks.
